1. Discovery meeting or call
Contact Us to setup a virtual or onsite meeting, whatever you prefer, to discuss what you are looking to accomplish with your web app, mobile app, or some other flavor or custom software development. Also since we are a Chicago area Software Development and Web application development company we could come to your office, favorite coffee house, or anywhere in between.
2. Detailed Quote Provided
If the project is pretty straightforward and there is no need for additional meetings or further details to be provided we provide a detailed quote. You will receive a quote that lays out the timeframes, and cost breakdown for our Chicago custom software development services. This quote includes a list of all your high-level requirements that lays out what will be part of the project.
3. Milestones Provided
Once the quote is approved next we will document in more detail all the requirements of the project. This will give you a road map of how the milestones will be completed and in what order.
4. Screen and Functionality Mock-ups
Once the quote is approved, screen, workflow, and functionality mock-ups will provided. We always find that a picture is worth a thousand words. There is no better way for our software development company to ensure we are providing the right solution than using screen/workflow mock-ups. We will go over those mock-ups iteratively and make the necessary changes before we move on to the actual architecting and development of your custom software
5. Coding!
Once the screens and navigation of the custom software have been provided then we begin coding the application.
Working Demo – Our goal is to always show you what we have been working on. Therefore as soon as possible we will provide a working demo. This demo, at first, will just be for a portion of the application so that you can see the real working functionality, suggest changes, approve it, and then move on to the next milestone, once completed provide another working demo, etc
6. Compliance / Setup / Acceptance
Based on the type of software this might require some additional steps. In the case of building a custom Apple or custom Android application one must adhere to the Apple App Store Guidelines and the Google Play Store steps and complete all of their compliance requirements. Perhaps you have a medical app that requires SOC compliance and HIPPA compliance, we will work with those agencies to get your app across the finish line.
7. App Launch
After several working demos have been provided and the final working demo has been approved we are ready to launch your custom business software.
